The Bema Seat

I've been meaning for weeks to write a blog about this video, but I haven't written the right thing yet, so I decided I just want to share the video with you first. This is a video of play I saw performed at TCX, Campus Crusade's Upper Midwest winter retreat. The name come from the Bema judgment seat from ancient Roman times and depicts what our times before God's judgment seat could be like. It is beautiful! It's decently long (1hr45min), so make sure you set aside enough time to take it all in. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it!

The Picture

The picture in my header is one taken on my trip to Haiti in January. Our team took the picture in order to capture the quality of the country's main highway system, but when I got home and found the picture again I thought it is just a great picture of life. Sometimes life feels like one pothole after another, other times life brings these great "mountain-top" experiences where trouble couldn't be further from our minds, and then there's a lot of life caught somewhere in between. It's the goal of this blog to capture lessons, God moments, revelations, and anything else I encounter on this walk through life.
